FAST FIRST and forget THIRST
FORGET about my FEW FOODIOUS FRIENDS, (who I won’t mention for the safety of my own jaws and thin neck), some people GENUINELY FORGET and FORGETFULNESS is just AS OLD AS MAN himself. Don’t DESPAIR when you unintentionally forget and PUNISH a PLATE OF FOOD and wash it down with some less FROTHY LIQUID.
It’s Haram and actually expiable SIN to eat when all others are FASTING, seeking the PLEASURE of THEIR LORD. But Allah does what He wills when he does. So try your best to be STRAIGHT FORWARD and OBSERVE your fast with SINCERITY. As for the CHEEKY, who MAKE SURE, they FORGET just to eat, you can only DECEIVE YOURSELF but not the Muslims and Allah. SINCERITY is the BASIS of every deed you do. 12 HOURS is not much. You can FAST. So please FAST FIRST and forget THIRST for a while. May Allah accept our fasts and purify our intentions.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk, has been given to him by Allah.”
The act of fasting is meant to remind Muslims of the less fortunate and to reinforce the need to be thankful. As one of the five pillars, or duties, of Islam, fasting during the month of Ramadan is mandatory for all healthy adult Muslims
