Looking In

I’m on the outside looking in,
But I don’t know quite what I see,
I see strangers looking in,
In the depths of what I see..

I say I’m on the outside looking in,
But I don’t know quite what I see,
Them strangers taking me,
To the dungeons of the bees,
Now they taking taking me…

But I’m on the outside looking in,
I try to see the things,
What I see isn’t what I see,
And the strangers wait on me..

If I love you don’t hurt me,
If you hurt me, let me bleed,
You blame me for the tears,
Who am I if not thee,
Oh they taking they taking me..

If you hate me have at me,
But be ready for me,
I’m a soldier I battle fears,
There is nothing big for me,
As a stranger waits for me,
I pull the dagger close to me,
If you take me you will see,
Blood streaming from you and me..

I say I’m on the outside looking in,
And I know now what I see,
See them strangers got to me,
They ain’t no strangers you will see,
I know, I know them from my fears,
And they taking taking me..

I pull my dager slash it all,
Them strangers slashing back,
What do I say to this my dear,
I’m on the outside looking in,
Pool of blood from them and me,
Them strangers went down with me..

We lay from the outside looking in,
Them strangers as hurt as me,
I know we lose with senseless wars,
I say we close our eyes at this,
The pool of blood taking over we,
Regret and pity won’t help us here..

I’m on the outside looking in,
And they finally taking over me,
I smile with eyes closed my dear,
Them wars finally done us in.

Nowhere near
