When I was a YOUNG LAD, of the things that often ELICITED INNOCENT HAPPINESS and EXCITEMENT, was when a GUEST came home. This was because atleast it was a CHANCE TO EAT chicken, chapatis and other DELICACIES. It’s the time when we could PARTAKE SODA and nicely BLENDED NATURAL JUICE laced with some sugar. The ARRIVAL of a GUEST in the neighborhood was actually a BLESSING in it’s REAL SENSE. All that period when he will be home, alot of INNOCENT LOVE and COMPASSION will be DISPLAYED. Showing HOSPITALITY to your guest is an ACT OF WORSHIP. Some guests are ANGELS in DISGUISE. The present lifestyle cutting a CROSS THE BOARD, is FECULENT. The RELIGIOUS, ATHEISTS and the AGNOSTICS. It’s everyone for himself and God for us all. No one CARES ANYMORE what happens next door. They may eat RESIDUAL or ABNEGATE to death. Let them dress in DUDS or otherwise, nobody cares. We EVENTUALLY ARM our residences with 24/7 SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM and no one is welcome, both STRANGERS and KINS. COUSINS and NIECES don’t know each other. They stay POLES APART, and the worst case SYNOPSIS is that they meet in the ALLEIS and SEDUCE just like any other FLESH VENDER without any element of knowledge of their BLOOD RELATIONSHIP. We SEVERE our KIND and KITH thinking that we are SMART but we are actually SINNING AGAINST GOD ALMIGHTY. Family meetings and get togethers are FAST FADING AWAY. Who will RESCUE this??? We YAP ALOT. We BLOW COLD and HOT ALIKE. We GOSSIP and BACK BITE whenever we meet. ALLAH ASKS; Are you happy EATING your BROTHER’S CORPSE?? Backbiting and gossiping is EQUATED with EATING DIRTY. Let’s take an EX-RAY of our own CHESTS and see how INAPPROPRIATE we talk about other in their ABSENCE. And what happens when they SURFACE?? We SHAMELESSLY act ANGELIC and very happy and PLEASED with their arrival. Anyone who has nothing much to say is SAFE SILENT. Let’s learn to KEEP SILENT with the SAME ZEAL we yap.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “He who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain good relation with kins; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.”
