Breast cancer awareness

I have a friend who has fought the battle with breast cancer and she won, with the exception of losing one of her breasts in the process. It is a daily fight that she faces with the hope, love and encouragement of those around her.

Some are battling with cancer and slowly loosing the battle…they are faced with hard decisions;to keep trying the treatments and be sick all the time, or let nature takes it’s course.I needed them to know we were all there for support with whatever decision they should make, and that we loved them so much—They are my inspiration.

Feeling tired and  weak,
With all the pain they do not seek.
Feeling scared and unprepared
Are all feelings that we all share.

In whatever you decide,i will be by your side.
Will all hold hands with each other,
With love and hope for you our patients.

Dear Ladies,Each month be sure to check your breasts,
To ensure there aren’t any unwanted guests.

Cancer’s next victim you should not be,
Checking yourself is the key.
Lumps and bumps I hope not to find you,
Terrible tricks cancer plays on the mind.

A doctor’s visit once a year,
Will help to be sure you are in the clear.
The battle with cancer many have lost,
Not checking monthly isn’t worth the cost.

October we celebrate those who fought and won,
And searching for a cure is never done.
You could be next if you don’t stop and think,
Breast cance awareness.
